Using Sturgis, SD as a starting point follow Vanocker Canyon Road (south of I 90 Exit 32) South for approximately 12 miles. You will see a large sign for Dalton Lake on your left at the intersection of Vanocker Canyon Road and Big Elk Road, turn Right onto Big Elk Road (away from the Dalton Lake Sign) follow Big Elk Road 4/10 of a mile. The Big Elk Cabin is on your right. It sits on a small hill. It has a red roof and a deck on the front. The house address is 21861 Big Elk Place.
